I'm a Backend Developer / Site Reliability Engineer living in Düsseldorf, Germany. My interests are scalability, performance and distributed systems; but I also play around with embedded systems and console emulation.

I'm maintaining some kind of blog since around 20 years (I'm a bit shocked myself). The first versions are lost in time. One of the first versions was done with Wordpress, then Jekyll and Cobalt with Github Pages, and now zola and Cloudflare Workers Sites.

Why Workers

Moving my blog to Cloudflare resulted is 0.2-0.3s total page load time and one minute deployments. First byte time dropped by 400ms depending on the region.
