The project aims to design a new interface for the Residents Advisor platform which is dedicated to showcase electronic music artists and events across the globe.
As an avid user of the platform, I thought it could be nice to develop an interface with better visualization by showing events on a map while have a simple navigation for dates and localization.
In addition finding events of artists you listening to is a cumbersome process. Providing a Last.fm and Spotify integration make the discovery of events a straightforward process as all the content is based on the artist that you like.
Cloudfare allows the site resources to be loaded extremely quickly worldwide as the SPA and the API endpoint are all cached.
In addition a worker was exploited to cache the images for events and artists as there are not hosted on my backend but coming directly from the Resident Advisor website.
